This is Game of Thrones re-imagined as an Indian TV soap, stamped with all the hallmarks of an Ekta Kapoor serial - the punctuated close-ups, the cheesy music, the dramatic flashback, the exaggerated expressions.
Sinhasan Ke Khiladi (genius name) features the execution of Eddard Stark, played by British star Sean Bean, from season one of Game of Thrones. Only this time, the melodrama is supplied by Ayush Arora, editor of this gem, clearly headed for internet fame.
Like every good Balaji episode, Sinhasan Ke Khiladi also ends a heartbeat short of the moment the events were building upto.
