Against the negative
impressions perceived to have being created to discredit the performance of the Abia state
governor, Chief Theodore A. Orji and his wife, Chief Mrs. Odochi Orji, the fact
on ground did show that these duo are doing more to better the lives of the
less privileged in the society but refuse to involve intense media wake to the
admiration of the world to see.
The wife of the
governor, who recently donated well over seven thousand skill acquisition equipment
to over twelve thousand people last month, here she is back again with another
work tools and machines for over eight hundred and fifty women that have gone
through the state wide skill acquisition training which has remained the pet project of the Abia first lady.
Ashiwaju.org spoke to
some of the recipients, who beard their mind on the gesture and lauded the first
lady's programme that is designed to better the lives of the indigent people on
the society.
“Truly, she has shown
love to the suffering, defended the defenseless, wiped the tears of those who
are in sorrow, offered shelter to the homeless, limbs to the physically
challenged, paid hospital bills for the sick, provided food to the hungry and
much more.’’ They praised.
Another recipient
Chinwendu Okafor, extolled the woman and prayed for divine touch to reach the
family, her word, This is love. This is mercy. This is kindness. This is
selfless service. This is charity. Indeed, this is a true heart of GOLD. Keep
Up The Good Work. May God Bless You and Bless Of Beloved Governor, His

Little is heard from
the couple but the people of Abia know the much extent the couple have affected
at least each family in one way or another.
