Chibok Girls: President Jonathan May Meet Boko Haram Negotiators--Source: Daily Trust

Indications have emerged that the Federal Government has formally commenced negotiation with the leadership of the Boko Haram sect over the abduction of about 270 schoolgirls of Chibok, Borno State.
Daily Trust gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan today held a secret meeting with some men believed to have links to the leadership of the sect.
Information Minister Labaran Maku led the 'negotiators' to the president's office where the meeting was held.

Among them was a journalist widely believed to be involved in the negotiation process and an unidentified man who wore a black turban to the meeting.
The meeting started around 3.20pm and ended at about 5.15pm.
One of the negotiators confirmed to Daily Trust that he was at the Presidential Villa in respect of the ongoing negotiation between the government and the leadership of the sect.
There was no official response on the meeting as the presidential spokesman, Reuben Abati, neither answered a phone call placed to him nor replied a text message sent to him by our correspondent, for confirmation.
