The Super Eagles refused to train on Thursday in preparation for their second round clash with the Europeans in the city of Brasilia.
But after receiving assurances from President Goodluck Jonathan that they will be paid,the players then yielded before leaving their base in Campinas for Brasilia.
The Sports minister,Tamuno Danagogo is believed to be on his way to Brazil with over $3million to settle the bonus row and pay up the players as was promised by the president.
It is almost reminiscent of what transpired with the Ghana national team where their government had to airlift $3million to pay the players their appearance fees,after they threatened to boycott the game against Portugal.
On why they are yet to the Super Eagles their appearance fees,the Nigeria Football Federation(NFF)said that they have an understanding with the players to pay them once the get delivery of the money FIFA will pay them.
