President Jonathan Commissirates With Buhari

JONATHAN IN TELEPHONE CONVERSATION WITH BUHARI
PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, put a call through to former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, to commiserate with him over the bomb blasts that nearly hit him in Kaduna, on Wednesday.
The president, according to sources close to the administration, thanked God that Buhari escaped the blast unhurt.
The call, which was made late on Wednesday, was, according to sources, aimed at reassuring the General that the president was concerned about his safety as well as that of any other Nigerian.
“The president was really touched at the mishap in Kaduna, especially that it nearly hit a former head of state, General Buhari. He personally put a call through to the General after breaking his fast on Wednesday, to express gratitude to God for sparing Buhari’s life,” the source said.
It added that the president further sought the cooperation of all Nigerians, including Buhari, in tackling the problems of insurgency.
He was also said to have assured Buhari that the government would do everything possible to bring the perpetrators of the attack to book.
A source said that the call, which lasted for close to 10 minutes, saw the two leaders expressing readiness to work together to bring insurgency to its knees in Nigeria.

President  Goodluck Jonathan has personally put a call across to former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari, who was hit by the second bomb blast in Kaduna to commiserate with him over the unfortunate accident.
According to a reliable source, President Jonathan thanked God for saving him from the ugly incident unhurt and stretched out a fellowship call to him and other Nigerians to join hands with the government to fight this Munster  call Boko Haram and ensure it does not exist again in the country.
