Anambra House of Assembly Passes Vote of Confidence On Governor Obiano

Anambra State House of Assembly has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Governor of the state. Chief Willie Obiano's and urged him to do more.
Presiding at the plenary, the speaker of the state assembly. Rt. Hon. Chinwe Nwaebili, extolled the governor for transforming the state under hundred and thirty days in office, to the envy of all in the country.
They commended his security initiative programme that has replaced the old order  where investors would panic before coming into the state against what they are currently enjoying as a safe and free society that is crime free.
The sponsor of the motion, Honourable Gabriel Onyewife, representing Ayanmelum Local Government Area State Constituency, of the People Democratic Party, lauded the achievements of the governor under five months in office, stressed the need for the opposition party to team up with the governor to transform the state in the best interest of all and sundry.
Also speaking, the honourable member representing Ndemili South State constituency, Honourable Barrister Ebele Obi of the All Progressive Congress, commended the motive behind the sudden transformation being experienced in the few months in office as governor of Anambra state.
They however unanimously endorsed his leadership prowess by transforming Anambra state and called on the citizens to learn support to the governor to collectively move the state to the next level..
Meanwhile, a motion to ammend the state procurement law, sponsored by the chairman, Anambra state house of assembly committee on tenders board, Honourable Kenechukwu Chukwuemeka. representing Awka South 1 state constituency,of the All Progressive Congress was amended, directing the governor to speedily inaugurate the board to oversee procurement activities in the state and same replicated in the 21 local governemnt areas of the state, for transparency and accountabily in the expenditure of government funds.
