Umeh Accused Obi of Instigating Recent Members Defection From APGA to the PDP

Obi: I didn't create the crisis and Umeh: I will do my party job
Little did anyone know that the recent defection of four members of the house of representatives of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the People's Democratic Party, would linger this long, after little was heard from the National Headquarters of the later.
The South East  Zonal Rally support for President Goodluck Jonathan, held at Alex Ekweme Square Awka, revealed some unanswered questions like having former Governor Peter Obi as the South East Zonal coordinator of the Transformation Ambasadors of Nigeria , while other defected members were on hand to show their solidarity for the laudable 2015 re-election bid.
Some are also of the opinion that the former Labour Party Governorship candidate in the November 16th, 2013 election, Chief Ifeanyi Uba may have employed the services of Chief Peter Obi,being the immediate past South East Governor chairman to oversee the affairs of the zone to achieve the big project.
More facts later emerged on the recent defection of the APGA members to have been instigated by the former governor, Mr. Peter Obi, as he was being accused  by the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Umeh who according to him wanted to present the party as not big enough to represent President Goodluck Jonathan political ambition from  the perspective of the easterners.
Chief Umeh, who spoke to journalists at Aguleri, the home-town of Governor Willie Obiano, the executive governor of Anambra state, said the former governor was the architect of the defection.
“The plot of the defection was hatched by Obi and his associates,” he stated, adding that “part of the group’s game-plan was to go to the Presidency to say that APGA was not supporting Jonathan, which is not true,” he said.
He described those who decamped from APGA as election ticket hunters, noting that whenever they did not get what they wanted from a party, they began to curse that party, and urged them to leave APGA alone.
According to him, “APGA is supporting Jonathan 100 per cent and has even set up a Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, called ‘Join Jonathan Journey, JJJ, which will be launched in Awka next Wednesday.”
He also said the reason given by Obi for resigning as the chairman of the Board of Trustees, BoT, of APGA was due to the new appointment he got from Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah as the South East coordinator of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN.
According to the APGA chairman, APGA had wanted to inaugurate Obi as a BoT chairman before leaving office.
Nigerians and Ndi-Anambra are watching to see how the duo second political tussle would represent the cause of the Igbo man through its Socio-Cultural Political Maoghany that its at the bricks of challenge, if collective responsibility is not asserted so save the party from perceived collapse.
Many argued that APGA, is bigger than Chief Peter Obi, because it now has a more Igbo inclined person as the Governor of Anambra state, in the person of Chief Willie Obiano the only APGA controlled state as well as the leadership with unflinching support to place Igbo quest on the national discus with a unified party front.
Some suggest the defected member are known for their action, formerly comming from the PDP to contest under the platform of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, which they thought might not give them the automatic ticket to pursue their political ambition in the next election.
Sources spoken with are optimistic that the dice has now being cast and posit further that only time would tell to know what will the the outcome of the recent exchange of words between Chief Victor Umeh, who is assumed was fighting for his political relevancy and the sustainability of a unique platform to champion his first elective/political ambition to unseat Senator Chris Ngige in the Anambra Central Senatorial seat of the National Assembly come next general election and Mr. Peter Obi, having served the state meritoriously for eight years under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, and was denied on two occasion a ministerial appointment ..because he is not of the national ruling party PDP, where he may have  thought it wise to move to a bigger party with a bigger platform to champion is future aspiration.
