He Executive Governor of Anambrra state, Chief Willie Obiano has charged other local government chairmen in the state to take a leave from the Emergency Mobile Clinic constructed by the Anambra East L.G. Chairman, that will serve as first aid, and reduced the number of death by road accidents in the state.
He gave the charge while commissioning a three bedroom hospital attachments plus one standby ambulance , constructed by the Anambra East Local Government Chairman, Chief Hillary Udanoh in Onochie community of the LG.
He extolled the emergency mobile clinic idea embarked upon by the chairman and stressed the resultant benefit inherent in having mobile hospital, ambulance and stationed medical workers, which would go a long way to reducing number of road mishaps on the highways.
He explained that the facilities would give the people at the rural area easy access to healthcare services
Speaking while introducing the equipment and medical team posted to the mobile clinic, Mr Hiallry Udanoh said the move was propelled by incessant road carnage often recorded by reckless drivers who at time knock down villagers going to thier farms, and a substitute to easy accessibility to medical care for sick villagers.
