The executive governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano has reiterated his administration resolve to complete the ongoing three flyovers projects in Awka, before April Next year.
He gave the assurance while on inspection tour of the construction process, stating the importance of the bridges when completed.
Governor Obiano expressed satisfaction at the paste and quality of work done so far by the contractors and solicit for the utmost cooperation from the motorists and the people in the bid to have a successful completion of the project.
‘’ I am sure when the bridges are completed, it would ease the perceived traffic jam often witnessed in the axis of the road, though it will not be ready for people coming to spend Christmas and new year in the state but assuring its will be realized at the scheduled date. Obiano said.
It would be recalled that Governor Obiano had on May 17th, 2014. Flagged off the construction of the three motoring flyover, that will cut across the axis of Aroma, Kwata and Amawbia axis of Awka, the Anambra sate capital.
