Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano has assured the speedy completion of the forty-seven Kilometer Aguleri-Orient Oil Rig road projects, which will boost socio-economic activities in the state.
He disclosed this while inspecting the progress of work done on the site by the contractors and stressed the need for collective support from all to join hand with the state government's resolve to speedily develop the state.
Governor Obiano said the aggressive move by his administration to develop the state is one of the key enablers of government born out of the zeal to bring development down to the grassroots, which according to him will facilitate the implementation of the four pillars of development he promised during his inauguration.
His word, “” My resolve is to ensure that the road will have two bridges that will transverse seven communities through Anambra, Enugu and Kogi states, which in turn would ease the transportation of farm produce and reduce the number of hours spent to reach these places by 80 percent man hours advantages.””
Governor Obiano noted that the road will provide access to the oil rig and would open up the areas to the outside world as it is close to the proposed airport that will soon commence construction to complement the ongoing forty seven kilometer road project.
He however assured the quality design with all conferment that would enable it stand the foot of time and expressed satisfaction at the pace of work done so far.
