The Executive governor of Anambra state Chief Willie Obiano has reiterated its
administration resolve to ensure that the Nchechukwu –Onochie –Ezu River road
Aguleri , Anambra Eastt LGA, is
actualized before the end of the year.
Speaking while flagging off the four kilometer road at
Nchechukwu round about, he said the
realization of the project will be the state government Christmas gift to the
people of the region.
He said the roads were designed with all the modern days
facilities and necessary infrastructural
amenities including adequate drainage system, street lights and road
markings among others.
“”The road has its strategic importance in line with the
policy of my administration to focus on
construction of access roads to food producing areas , oil and gas facilities.
Indutria and residential layouts in the
state””, He said.
Speaking earlier, the Anambra state commissioner for
works, Sir Calsitus Ilonzumba ,
described the road project as design for well organized cities with unique road
shoulder leverages that will regulate alignments houses and other connectively
to the central road facilities.
He assured that the ministry has identify the bootle necks
that may hinder the sppedily cmpltion of the project and have taken care of
other would be natural challenges to the credit of the free flow of the work of
sites.
In their commendations to the governor, member representing Anambra east in the state
house of assembly, Pharmacist Obinna Emenaka lauded the governors effort to
bring the region at par with other developed regions in the state, stress the
hope that the Agulri people are confident and proud of the focus leadership
prowess the governor has endowed its administration with since inception of his
administration.
