The Okpoko Community residents landlords association, Ndi Nze Na Ozo, United Eastern Congress Okpoko and Winners foundation have unanimously endorsed Sir Benson Nwawulu, the member representing Ogbaru I constituency for a second tenure.
In a release endorsed by their chairmen, Mr. Felix Onunkwo for Okpoko community residents Landlords association; Hon. C. O Emenike for Ndi Nze na Ozo Okpoko; Chief Eddy Emesimma for United Eastern Congress and Mr. Dom Ndubuisi for winners Foundation showed that Hon Benson Nwawulu had evenly distributed democracy dividends across all the communities in Ogbaru I Constituency and consequently deserved a second tenure in office.
The Associations which issued out the release at end of their meeting held at Okpoko town hall, which was attended by over five thousand members where they described Hon. According to the release, ‘Hon. Nwawulu fought for the recognition of Okpoko as a community by the government built Okpoko Tax Office, empowered eight percent of Ogbaru I Constituents and helped many to secure admission in tertiary institutions within the country and paid their school fees.
In their separate speeches, Mr. Francis Enemuo from Obite quarters and Sir Vincent Okafor from Amaeze quarters described Hon. Benson Nwawulu as a listening leader stated that he had invested so much in human capital development in the constituency noting that the entire constituents of Ogbaru I have felt the positive impact of quality representative through Sir Benson Nwawulu.
Meanwhile, the Okpoko Residents Landlords Association, United Eastern Congress, Winners Foundation and Ndi Nze na Ozo also endorsed the speaker State House of Assembly, Princess Chinwe Nwaebili as their candidate for Ogbaru Federal Constituency saying that the speaker helped to restore the status of Okpoko as a community in the state.
They concurred that their reasons for endorsing the speaker was borne out of Princess Nwaebili’s frequent visit to Ogbaru I constituency to ascertain areas of need with a view to addressing them.
