Efforts to get their reaction could not yield success , so said Odogwuemekaodogwu.blogspot.com.
But the immediate past Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, did not voluntarily leave the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as facts emerged that he was forced out.
Obi’s Media Aide, Mr. Valentine Obienyem made the clarification while responding to those who accuse Obi of going back on his promise not to leave APGA. Obi joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday at his palatial compound in Onitsha.
Obienyem wrote this afternoon on his Facebook wall , “Did he leave APGA? He did not, he was not wanted. Since he left office, how many APGA functions were he invited to? Just last week, I was passing with him through Owerri and we saw many vehicles going for an APGA function – rally – with APGA inscriptions. It took him phone calls to ascertain that APGA was doing a mega rally in Owerri.
“Since he left office, how many APGA hierarchy have called him on the phone or visited him?
“Do you have to be killed first before you realize that you are not wanted?
“Did you see the array of PDP members that visited him and the kind words appreciative of his character and personal rectitude?”
