He described the move as an act of irresponsibility and would be vehemently kicked against in the coming general election.
Chief Victor Umeh stated this while addressing hundreds of party faithful who accompanied him to the Anambra state APGA headquarters in Awka, to pick up his nomination and expression of interest forms to contest for the Anambra Central Senatorial election, noted with strong equivocation that his party will not entertain such loose act of the PDP to short change other party men, where three or more men are contesting under one political party.
Reacting to the move by the 21-L.G.A. Chairmen and their Councillors to purchase nomination and expression of interest forms for him to pledged their support his campaign slot, was negated based on earlier request made by other youths organization, market union and others, all geared towards same purpose but redirected them to channel such fund to enhance his campaign organization by reaching out more to the needy and for the purchase of utility vehicle for his campaign orgnization.
''The N3.5 million bank draft from the 2 LG Chairmen and councillors brought to cover both nomination form and expression of interest form was turned down on the ground that I have already procured my own bank draft, but I will urge them to use same money to boost my campaign'' .Umeh retorted.
Umeh who said that the APGA youths had earlier made the same monetary offer, which he also rejected, then advised the Council Chairmen and their Councillors to channel the money to other areas to help his campaign, especially in purchasing of bus for his campaign organisation.
