The Member Representing Orumba North and South in the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Ben Nwankwo has described the perceived crisis rocking Anambra People Democratic Party (PDP) as an act of some few Billionaire entrepreneurs who see the state chapter of the party as an extension of their business empire.
He made this known at the backdrop of an ongoing crisis bedelviling the state chapter of the party, while addressing party stakeholders of his constituency in Orumba South LGA, noted that such ideology would not make positive progress in any progressive political system.
He advised party leaders in the state to reclaim the people’s confidence by showing selfless sacrifice to the service of the state, for the good of the party.
While outlining his achievements as a legislature and soliciting for their votes in the next election, Honourable Ben Nwankwo dissociated himself from the rumoured political agreement between Orumba North and South LGAs which according to him was not kept at the instance state, but impress it on the stakeholders to insist on returning their legislators, which would afford them better representation.
He however promised to devote his next four year salaries as a legislator in the federal house of representative to charity and development of education in his constituent, if re-elected.
