The most popular and internationally renown Igbo gospel artist, Mrs Chinyere Udoma,, was recently a beneficiary of the universally recognized EMINENT PEACE AMBASSADOR appointment. She, alongside about a dozen others were selected amongst more than 700 people who were considered for the exalted award/appointment.
Interacting with the press just after receiving the award plaque and tag that goes with it, the visibly ecstatic Chinyere Udoma, who was accompanied by her supportive husband, expressed her profound gratitude to the Almighty for counting her worthy of such recognition. She attributed the honor to the grace of God and to providence saying it was just as a result of the fact that it was her time and not any special personal attributed of hers.
The sonorous, highly creative composer and performer told the press that she has been inspired in no small way by the appointment and that she will make efforts to use the ministry God has given her - Music, to promote the cause of peace in Nigeria and the whole world.
Some others who benefited from the International Association of World Peace Advocates' award/appointment as Eminent Peace Ambassadors were the CEO of DOZZY oil and gas, Mr Sam Egenti - an international business mogul, Barrister Harold Ekwerem from Onitsha, Reverend Dr. Francis Chukwunwike Eze of Greater Grace and Fire Assembly, Onitsha.
The event was regarded as a huge success by the State Coordinator of the association, Ambassador Dr. Godsent Ugo. It was attended by students from different secondary schools, Peace Marshals, highly placed personnel from all walks of life.
