Team Of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University who visited this year Confucius Institute 9th Global Conference held recently in China were hosted to an avenue which served as an exhibition to promote African culture and intellectual excellence being applauded by the Chinese government.
The delegation led by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor J.E Ahaneku met with the president of the Xiamen Universty of China for bilateral talks to improve university education in the university as well as stressed the need to enhance cultural promotion of the two institutions for free flow and fluent speaking of Chinese language not only in the state, but should be extended to the entire country.
Professor Ahaneku, who took turn to arouse the audience with a mind blowing storming speech delivered, stressed on the unique quality Africa citizen possesses with quintessential quality of making the world know the importance of investing in both human and infrastructure development of the continent,that currently positioned itself as the next continent to lead in terms of human and natural endowment that the globe would require for its next generational developmental change..
The team was later taking round facilities of Xiamen University and a memorandum of understanding reached to extend courses between the institution and the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, for both under graduate and post graduate courses share of knowledge between the two institution .
