Osinbajo, who disclosed this in Enugu during his town hall meeting with students and youths in the South East zone, expressed dismay over the increasing rate of corruption in the country, saying there was need for Nigerians to support the APC to fight corruption.
The APC Vice Presidential candidate assured the youths that the APC government would deal with law and order problems in the country, saying failure of law enforcement was one of the causes of the problems in some parts of the North.
Professor Osinbajo stated that the difference between Nigeria’s corruption and other countries in the world was that Nigeria’s corruption was fighting hard to destroy the nation, warning that corruption was increasing at an alarming rate.
Former Governor of Ekiti State, kayode Fayemi, Imo State Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere, Senator Chris Ngige, Chairman of the APC in Enugu State, Dr Ben Nwoye, among others attended the town hall meeting.
