Stakeholders
in Ndemili North/South LGA of Anambra state have urged Ndigbo to remain in a
party that has its potential to deliver their 2019 presidential aspiration.
This
was a vote moved by the former commissioner for information, Barrister
Joe-Martins Uzodike seconded by Barrister Okay Udah noted that the future of Ndigbo emerging as the next president of Nigeria after President Goodluck
Jonathan would not be achieved
in a one state controlled political party.
The
stakeholders who represent major communities in the Local Government Areas averred to converse beyond Anambra state to ensure Ndigbo registers themselves
with the people democratic party (PDP).
They
urged members to reach out to others to ensure they collect their permanent
voter cards (PVCs) and vote for President Goodluck Jonathan, who according to them would
facilitate their quest to produce the next Nigeria President come 2019.
Speaking
earlier, the chairman of occasion, Barrister Okey Aroh charged members to
ensure they canverse votes for all PDP candidates in the March 28th and April
11th general elections, noted that the union would restore the state back to
the PDP.
He described Honourable Uche Ekwunife as an individuals that possesses the best
political credentials and should be supported to take Anambra central
Senatorial zone to the next level of development.
Barrister
Aroh, who read their communique said, Ndemili people will repeat their vote
for President Jonathan as they did in 2011 and would consolidate same by voting
for all candidates of the PDP in the coming elections.
