Senator Chris Ngige this evening said those planning to join APC in the state would be screened before admission ,stressing that the party's membership would not be an all-comer affair.
He stated this during a heroic reception organised for him by members of his party at Finotel hotel to mark APC's presidential victory at the March 28 polls.
He maintained that old members of the party would always enjoy priority far above new entrants.
He noted that the bane of the PDP was opening its gate too wide for new comers which he said brought the confusion that eventually buried the party. The APC leader in the state who ruminated over the travails of the party in Anambra state and the south east generally before now, blamed Ndigbo for their political shortsightedness, quipping that the"Igbo put their eggs in one basket, politically and may likely suffer for that in the emerging dispensation"
He blamed the PDP and APGA for the ordeal of Ndigbo in Nigeria, saying some Igbo oil merchants and others who wanted to protect their business interests deceived and blindfolded the Igbo into believing that the PDP and APGA were the only political parties with Igbo interests.
"They called us Boko Haram party,Yoruba party, islamic party and all sorts of names but today,we have been vindicated.Ngige submitted,
