The emergence of the Governor Willie Obiano led
administration has no doubt brought succor and hope to the people and residents
of Anambra state, while the giant stride recorded in combating insecurity
challenges in the state is on assumable, but some unscrupulous element vowed to
make sure the perceived peace recorded would not be maintained.
The unfortunate incident that left many question unanswered
was the invasion by some yet to be identified armed robbers that invaded
Silverbird Communications Office Awka, carting away equipment and damaging
offices keys and locks left many resident bewildered that the sudden attacks on
Media houses in the country need a call to enhance security in the media houses
by all relevant authorities.
The incident that happened at the early hour of Wednesday,
according to witness report, affirmed that the suspects were out to injure
anybody found and cart away properties of their vulnerable victims.
The suspects, who are currently undergoing questioning by
the members of the Nigeria Police Force , as at the time of filling this report
were alleged to be herdsmen grazing their
flocks around the Awka capital city.
The robbers had taken
away Laptops, Radio equipment, headphones, recorders, motorbike and some other
valuables that were yet to be accounted for worth millions of naira.
