He was kidnapped 8 pm at Ubo Bridge Ndiokpalaeke , his home town on his way back to his residence in Ekwulobia, Aguata local government area.
He is not staying in the village as he built at Ekwulobia sequel to lack of access road to his community and lack of basic amenities , so www.odogwublog.com was told. He has not returned home in the last 16 years. That visit was his first to his village since 1999.
The 38 years old Radiographers Registrar in Nigeria came home on Thursday to bury his late wife and yesterday was his final stay though he does not sleep at his community as he returns to Ekwulobia everyday and returns the next day. The wife died during child delivery.
But yesterday, he was returning late only to be ambushed by a Highlander Jeep and a Hilux Escort, they blocked his way at the Bridge locked in a massive wet land without any building in sight up to 4 kilometers or so.
According to reliable sources to the family, the driver of the Registrar Ali Samuel, said the kidnappers collected all their phones and took away his Boss to an unknown destination. They have not demanded ransom yet.
Ashiwaju.org was rightly informed that the regrettable thing was that the kidnappers even attended condolence to him allegedly.
He is the younger brother of the traditional ruler of Ndiokpalaeke Eze Kanu B Okpalaeke.
Police sources in Anambra state police command confirmed the incident but the Anambra PPRO , Uche Eze said he was in Abuja for a seminar and is not yet aware.
‘’I am in Abuja for a seminar , I am not aware’’, he submitted.
There is confusion in the community as he was said to be a good man and has been helping his people and friendly.
