Alex Ekwueme square Awka will tomorrow 6th August 2015 play host to all APGA
faithful nationwide as the party inaugurates its new state executives in
Anambra state .
It will be
recalled that the party had earlier conducted a statewide congress that produced
the executives that will be formally constituted tomorrow .
Speaking with The
UNION yesterday at the party secretariat in Awka , the secretary of the party
in Anambra state Barr.Tony Ifeanya said that the exercise would be a state
affair adding that all the local government area would participate actively .
Barr.Ifeanya also
stated that the essence of the occasion is for the party to re-strategise as
well as make a clarion call on the state citizenry to be aware that APGA is on
ground in Anambra to protect the state from its enemies . According to him ,
the inauguration of the new state excos is a move towards peace and
harmonisation and that it is equally expected that aggrieved persons in the
party will mend fences after tomorrow's rally .
Meanwhile the
state publicity secretary of APGA Hon.Chinedu Nkwonta stated that the event of
tomorrow will feature a roll call of who is who in APGA as the national
officers ,board of trustee members , as well as all lovers of the party from
far and near will grace the august occasion .
Hon.Nkwonta
maintained that the inaugural ceremony of the new state excos would be a
celebration of the new government in the political party which according to him
will complement as well as work from the party angle with the state government
. He also disclosed that APGA is not amalgamation or conglomerate of rascals
but a political party that is properly grounded on vision and mission that
reflects in the actions of the state governor .
He however made a
categorical statement that the All Progressive Congress ( APC) is a marriage of
inconvenience as he observed that the party is currently breaking away by the
day while the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) according to him is currently
being hunted by its woes in the past .
