Fashola Allegedly Build Personal Website Worth N78.3million

Report that is recently domination the social media is unconnected with the quest by President Muhammadu Buhari to painstakingly search for people of credible character to occupy the exulted offices of the federal executive council, where the former governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) is not credible to mann any further public office if the alleged  N78.3million personal website  is anything true.
Reactions had it that the erstwhile governor budgeted for the construction of an official website in 2014, later turned his own website, allegedly built with taxpayers money way higher than any website one could imagine.

A pity that Lagos tax-payers money is converted to construct his personal website, which stirred a huge buzz on twitter, facebook, pinterest, linkedin and other notable social media.

A WordPress website, like http://tundefashola.com/http://tundefashola.com/ should not cost more than N3million, according to expert opinions.

In tweets and retweets, commentators have been expressing derision and disgust that the former governor could have approved such a questionable expenditure under his watch.
The conclusion by respondents comments was that the cost was grossly exaggerated and over-inflated.
The report  was brokered  by an online news website BudgIT, quoting a budget report on the website of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency.
The contract was awarded in 2014 to “Info Access Plus Limited”. A Google search network but TheNEWS did not turn anything out about the company.
Website developers and experts in web design said the site is a wordpress website that is possibly to have been hosted free and only secured a domain name to drive  home their message of having worked on a standard website.
