The Anambra State Government has suspended November environmental sanitation exercise to enable well wishers of Francis Cardinal Arinze's celebrate his fiftieth years of Episcopal Ordination unhindered..
He started this in a statement signed by the state commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr. Mrs. Uju Nwogu, stated that the cancellation should not be misconstrued by residentso negate their duties as it relates cleaning of their homes and surroundings.
The statement however, opined that residents of the Awka, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia and Ihiala should not seek refuge under the cancellation to ensure their environment are kept clean.
"As a matter of fact, regular clean up of homes, offices and surroundings should be maintained at all times in order to assist government realize its objective of ensuring a clean and healthy Anambra state." Its Read In Part
