Details of his arrest is yet to be made public to newsmen, but reliable source from the EFCC disclosed that the arrest was hinged on his principal involvement in the $2.1 billion arms scandal.
He disclosed further that the former foreign affairs to late Nigerian dictator General Sanni Abacha is being grilled at their EFCC headquarters Abuja in connecting with recent revelations linking him to the arms scandal and having played major role in the arms deal.
