Clergyman Extols Obiano's Leadership Prowess

The Bishop of Kaduna Diocese, Rt Revd Timothy Yahaya has admonished that "Obiano should please tell other governors how he is governing Anambra State" while calling on Christians to live a life that truly reflects the teaching in the scriptures.

Bishop Yahaya gave the advice in his homily during the SYNOD MATINS for the 3rd Session of the 10th of Anglican Diocese of Awka held today at Immanuel Anglican Church, Adazi-Enu in Anaocha Local Government of Anambra State.

Bishop Yahaya who frowned at the calibre of politicians we have in Nigeria where "leaders are looters"  expressed satisfaction with the unprecedented progress being enjoyed by Ndi Anambra emphasising the need for other governors to learn the approach with which Obiano has created a secure and wealthy State in this time of economic melt down.

Also addressing the congregation, Governor Obiano praised the theme of the SYNOD, "Living with Eternity in view" explaining that the theme reflects what guides him and his administration.

Obiano said that the security, revolution in Agriculture, infrastructural transformation and other giant strides of Anambra State Government are aimed at ensuring a better today and greater future for Ndi Anambra.

In his own remarks, Bishop Alexander Ibezim who presided over the special church service narrated how armed robbers had once attacked his wife years before Obiano and made away with her car noting that the new and secure Anambra State under Obiano is second to none in Nigeria.

Present at the service were Chief of Staff to the Governor, Prof Joe Asike and members of the State Executive Council as well as the clergy from within and outside Anambra state.
