GROUP APPLAUDS AUTHUR EZE’S EXCELLENT PHILANTHROPY ..announces first standard sickle cell clinic at NAUTH Ukpo prior to world sickle cell day

                                                           O’STAR EZE, NNEWI
The Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder has applauded the way Prince Engr. Authur Eze, Chief Executive of Oranto Oil, for how he has embraced the cause of the association immediately he got hint of it.
The President of the group, Aisha Edward, made this known, while addressing the press recently at the site of a clinic that was donated by Prince Arthur Eze, in Ukpo. Aisha expressed awe at how such philanthropist of wide repute could still be so humble and approachable.
In her words, “…he even went out of his way to routinely visit the clinic under construction, in order to ensure we were given the best.”

Aisha then availed the opportunity to also appreciate the Awka Diocese Anglican Bishop, Rt. Rev. Alexander Ibezim, for what he has been doing in St Mary’s Anglican Church, Ukpo, Awka Diocese, the spiritual centre that grooms Prince Arthur Eze’s spiritual life.
In the same vein, Aisha thanked the Archdeacon of St. Mary’s, Ukpo, Venerable Geofrey Orji in charge of St Mary’s Anglican Church for welcoming her with open arms, and providing the platform to sensitize people on sickle cell scourge.
Speaking about how she met the business tycoon, Ms Edward said, “I had never met this man before then and I was just at St Mary’s to address the congregants on the the plight Sickle cell patients go through and bestSickle Cell patients. Then, I was introduced to him and the rest is news.”
A saying goes that one should also give thanks for blessings that are on the way. In line with this wise saying, Aisha Edwards also appreciated the members of Onitsha Patent Drug Dealers Association, Headbridge, Onitsha for promising to partner with the association, given that the patients that make up the association are their best customers, to say the least.
Moving on, Edward Aisha quipped,“I also want to appreciate the mothers who have been following up with the program of the association and bringing their children along to our meetings where enlightenment cum empowerment programs on how to properly manage the crisis and all associated with the health condition, sometimes having to travel long distances with their meager means just to get the best the association has to offer sickle cell patients.
She however chided those parents, especially mothers, who, as a result of their perverted egos, hide their sickle cell patient children, subject them to psychological abuse of all kinds that ultimately worsen the miserable state of our kind and shorten their lifespan. “Remember that the doctors that attend to your children know them. In due course, our association shall fish out such cold blooded murderer mothers and disgrace them.”
The APLSCD coordinator further proposed, “If sickle cell specialist clinics are set up by philantropists in different zones in the state and beyond, where both spirito-psychological and somato-physiological therapy are provided for the patients, our members who are subjected to torturous pain while travelling long distances to get good medical attention at our meeting points and the about-to-be-commissioned clinic, the first standard class of its kind, shall be relieved in no small way. Aisha then encouraged all philanthropists and people of goodwill to emulate Prince Engr. Arthur Eze by identifying with the association and cashing into the various philanthropic ventures it offers.
Aisha Edwards then announced that the Clinic is expected to be commissioned on the World Sickle Cell Day by June 18, 2016 by 8 am at Ukpo, when other great philanthropists shall be revealed and celebrated, after which we hold a 1000 man match down to UNIZIK Auditorium where the rest of the program commemorating World Sickle Cell day shall take place.
