NYCN South East Council Urges Abia Politicians To Respect Rule Of Law

OFFICE OF THE NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT (SOUTHEAST) NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (NYCN)

Having keenly observed the goings-on in Abia State, especially the gradually growing political turmoil resulting from the cancellation of the mandate of the Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja and the directive by the same court, directing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Certificate of Return to Mr Uche Ogah by the electoral body, I wish to implore all youth groups to be calm and law abiding.

Do not let yourselves to be used as tools for violence by politicians or fight against the constituted authority.

These issues will be sorted out maturely by the relevant authorities saddled with that responsibility, and the God's Own State will return to normalcy.

We urge all Nigerian youths to join hands with us to move NYCN, which is the nation's apex  youth body, forward and establish it firmly. We also solicit your candid support to enable us achieve our modest and well articulated aims and objectives targeted at improving the lives of the young people.

Also, we want to bring to the notice of the general public and Nigerian youths in particular that the tenure of the present NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL (NEC) of the National Youth Council Of Nigeria (NYCN) administration will elapse in 2019 as have been affirmed by a court of competent jurisdiction.

We implore all youths and Nigerians alike not to recognise the PERMANENT CONGRESS PLANNERS who have vowed to stop at nothing to sabotage the good programmes and plans of Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere-led EXCO whom you gave your mandate to guide and deliver the Nigerian youths from the shackles of hooliganism, and to ensure that the image of the average Nigerian youth, which have in no small measure been dragged to the mud by this same set of people instead of supporting the present leadership to achieve our collective goals, is redeemed.

They have started the selling of INTENT FORM  to unsuspecting youth all in the name of extorting money from them just for them to ride on the back of our brothers and sisters to earn a living. Is this not the corruption we are fighting in our dear country, Nigeria?

We will work with the constituted authorities of the country, and we will stop at nothing to ensure that they are apprehended and prosecuted accordingly.

THE LAWS OF THIS GREAT NATION NIGERIA MUST BE RESPECTED and DEFENDED.

Build the Youth, Build the Nation
Destroy the Youth, Destroy the Nation.

His Youthfulness,

Com. Nnonyelu Williams Onyibor ( Al-Mustapha ) National
Vice President (South East) NYCN / Chairman of the zone
