Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress APC in Anambra state have absorbed the party led government on the deplorable state of south eastern part of Nigerian roads; say the decay was as a result of neglect accentuated by successive administration before it came into power.

The APC chieftains made this declaration at a press interaction in Umunya, in Idemili LGA of Anambra state, said the realization of the projects lies in the political will of the south east states government.
Many have lamented on the poor condition of road infrastructure in the south east of Nigeria, while successive governments have come and gone without doing nothing to address the situation that points to the continued perceived marginalisation of people from the zone.
They note that the economic activities of the people have been hampered by the deplorable state of their roads as a lot of time is wasted while trying to connect one location to the other in the area.
APC stakeholders in Anambra state have however, absorbed the party led government, said the people and government of the zone should give the party a chance to deliver on its campaign promises.
The chieftain Obidogbo, urged Nigerians to support president Muhammadu Buhari led government in the fight against corruption, said the need to ensure that those who looted the country’s treasury are brought to book should be encouraged by all and sundry.
South Eastern part of Nigeria has been adjudged as one of the zones with the highest deplorable road networks, while promises made by successive government have left their road infrastructure at its worst state.
