The command commend the cooperation of the public, which lead to the arrest of the notorious drug dealer who has been on the command wanted list for over two and half year.
AAddressing newsmen at the command headquarters in Awka, the NDLEA Assistant State commander Operation, Anambra state Ameh Inalegwu, disclosed that the suspect, popularly known as Chike Ananti, was arrested with 239.9 grams Cocaine of 119.2 grams of heroin as at time of arrest.
He said the suspect is an ex-convict and known to disguise his nefarious act of peddling controlled drugs, also a major wholesale supplier of these drugs in the state.

He assured the residents of the state the command with other security agencies in the state, stating their readiness to ensure they celebrate the yuletide in the atmosphere of peace, devoid of any criminal activities.
Responding, the suspect Chike Anati, who said he was not in the mood to speak with the press, denied in part the allegation leveled against him.
They appeal to the general public to continue supporting the NDLEA with useful information that would lead to further arrest and prosecution of more drug traffickers operating in the state.
