In the bid to rid the Anambra state of criminal activities and institutionalized the fight against illicit drug trafficking in Nigeria, the state commander of the National Drug LAw Enforcement Agency(NDLEA) Sule Momodu, has advised stakeholder  to provide relevant information that would lead to the arrest of suspected drug traffickers in the state.
He promised to make such information confidential which will lead to further arrest of notorious drug traffickers, who have made Anambra state their place of abode.

Addressing a team of journalists at his command headquarters Awka, the Commander of the National Drug Law enforcement Agency, (NDLEA), Mr. Sule Momodu charged residents to insist on revealing the identity of notorious people in their localities, which according to him will assist the command in carry out ts constitutional duty of fighting drug and unwholesome trafficking in the state.
He lamented that the country had had it better in the 70s-80s where values and regard for Nigeria among Africa nations are respected but charged Anambra residents to assist government to ensure the eroding value of Nigeria is restored.
While speaking on the need to have a secured environment in the yuletide, the NDLEA scribe in Anambra state assured residents of the command resolve in conjunction with other security agencies,  to maintain secured environment and deliver a itch free yuletide for intending people who might want to travel down to the state for the Christmas break.
He assured that the command has what it takes to ride the state of illicit drug traffickers but solicit for the cooperation of the people to make available information that would aid their operation.
The NDLEA commander sized the occasion to commend the assistance rendered by the state government in the fight against criminal activities, urged the residents to compliment the state government gesture to achieve a crime free Anambra state.
