Speaking with the Chairman, Anambra Rice Millers, in Amichi, Nnewi South Local give Area of the state, Akai Egbuowun, commended the federal government policy to diversify the nation's economy, but regretted lack of appropriate power supply for them to meet up with the productions demands .
He said , Nigerians have come to realise that locally made.items are reliable and would stand the test of time, but lamented that epileptic power supply hampers their Production capacity.
Egbuowun however called on government not to reneged on their policy of placing total ban on importation of Rice produce into the country, urges it to be sustained, said it would make the country as one of the world's net exporters of rice produce globally.
