President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed doors with some politicians from the South-East region of the country.
The meeting was held inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The politicians, who visited under the aegis of the South-East Group for Change, were led by a former President of the Senate, Ken Nnamani.
Sequel to the alleged killing of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) by the joint Task Force (JTF), Anambra state government has alleged that the youths peaceful demonstration was hijacked by hoodlums imported from neighbouring states, whose designs were to distort the peace and security in the state.
