GROUP APPLAUDS AUTHUR EZE’S EXCELLENT PHILANTHROPY ..announces first standard sickle cell clinic at NAUTH Ukpo prior to world sickle cell day

The Association of People Living with Sickle Cell Disorder has applauded the way Prince Engr. Authur Eze, Chief Executive of Oranto Oil, for how he has embraced the cause of the association immediately he got hint of it.
The President of the group, Aisha Edward, made this known, while addressing the press recently at the site of a clinic that was donated by Prince Arthur Eze, in Ukpo. Aisha expressed awe at how such philanthropist of wide repute could still be so humble and approachable.
In her words, “…he even went out of his way to routinely visit the clinic under construction, in order to ensure we were given the best.”

In NERFUND, Corruption Is Fighting Back.


One true testament about corruption is this, it fights back each and every time it is fought. 
This is therefore a clear case at the National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND). 
In the past, NERFUND was just one of those government agencies that stood as a clear example of the poster boy of how government funds were being mismanaged as past leaderships of the fund engaged in sharp practices that put the fund in an insolvent state. This was of course inevitable as management after management engaged in high wired profligacy at the expense of government's allocations to the fund.

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor has called on the various knights of the Universal Church to eschew unnecessary bickering, division, unhealthy competition and to come together and work for the greater good of the Church.  
     Bishop Ezeokafor who is the chairman of Catholic Bishops' Conference of Nigeria, CBCN, on laity, gave the charge in a homily during this year's All Knights Day Celebration held at St. Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, Awka
    He explained that the essence of establishing the Noble Orders was for them to serve as a link between the laity and the clergy, noting that their primary assignment was to protect the Catholic faith and also guard against invasion of any form.
