This was revealed by the Secretary of APC in Anambra state, Chukwuma Agufogo, in a telephone chat with our Anambra state correspondent Bamidele Ajayi, disclosed that the billionaire was quoted to have said ' having searched all the political parties manifesto and programmes of President Muhammadu Buhari as the leader of the party , APC provides greater opportunity for Ndigbo and Nigerians at large'.
He affirmed that the oil magnet and football maestro has picked up his APC membership card from his Otolo Ward 1 and has also been introduced to his local government Exco at Nnewi North LGA for proper documentation.
Reacting, the Chairman of Nnewi North LGA of APC, Jimmy Nwangwu and Media Assistance to Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Uba, Emeka Onyia, confirmed the development. Based it on the need for the state to connect itself to the national grid of politics.
They ascribed the billionaire's political movement to the APC as a programme well thought out by the oil magnet to join Mr President in the fight against corruption and a programmes geared towards lifting the people's idea of self development in nation building.
They extolled the president initiative to diversify the nation's economy which according to them has revived many dead companies in the south east and enhanced Ndigbo Ingenuity of manufacturing and creativity.
Many are now left with the thought about his declaration for the APC, possibly to contest 2017 Governorship election or just for the love of the party ideology as was quoted by the state party secretary, Chukwuma Agufogoh.
Indications too are also on the top gear about the mass exodus of many political big wigs in Amambra, recorded to have defected from their different political parties recently to the APC.
Among the top list are Senator Andy Uba of Anambra South, Chief Obinna Uzor, Anambra South now Dr, Ifeanyi Uba same Anambra South.
