Anambra moves on digitalization ...... embarks on aerial Photography

Aeroprecisa Company has completed and presented a comprehensive multispectral Aerial Photography of Anambra state.The project done at a high resolution of 10cm, was geared towards digitalization of the entire state, having a record of 4850 Square Km.

It was observed that the execution of the project was commissioned in 2015, by the present Obiano administration.
The digital documentation of the project took place at Government House  Awka, amidst Exco members.
Receiving the documents, the Governor of Anambra state, Dr Willie Obiano disclosed that the high powered project would add to the security system of the state, adding that it would aid in tracking down crime and criminality as well as their command control centers.
Governor Obiano noted that the aerial photography would give a proper view of erosion sites in the state.
The Governor who enumerated other benefits stated the state would be properly planned and the roads well designed to give aesthetic outlook.
The Managing Director Awka Capital Development Authority, ACTDA ,Mr Micheal Okonkwo stated that the project would enhance infrastructural development, urban planning , all geared towards transforming the face of the state.

According to him " the project Was commissioned in 2015, following the successful delivery of Aerial photography of Awka Capita territory, being that the project was done, the ACTDA used it in the area of design, erosion control, agriculture, road engineering and many more."
Mr Okonkwo that it would project the Anambra state among the states like Federal Capital Territory that had digitalized  land management into geographic information system.
He added it would facilitate the process of issuance of Certificate of Occupancy in addition to other benefits.
Presenting documents, the Managing Director of Aeroprecisa, Mr Kamal Azar, said the project would provide Geographic Information System, (GIS), vis-a-vis land mapping to ascertain agricultural areas as well other areas suitable for establishment of various institutions 
Mr Azar noted the project would further extract hydrogen from rivers and streams.
On his part, the Project Manager, Telecom Technology Mr Ossai Chuks said they would always ensure adequate execution of projects, in line with specifications.
