Anambra APC Aspirants Certified With Interim Exercise

Different aspirants of the All Progressive Congress, contesting the party’s primary have expressed confidence in the exercise SO FAR.

They affirmed that the exercise has been going on smoothly without recourse to violence or manipulation by any opposition contestants.

They expressed hope that the tempo as it is observed if maintain throughout would produce a credible result in the exercise.

Anambra Youths Mobilize 1000 Youths for Anambra Subsequent Primaries

Youths organisation under the auspices of Coalition of Anambra youths have warned aspirants planning to cause chaos during the forthcoming governoship election to stay clear from doing so or risk the wrath of the law.
They warned youths sponsored for such exercise to stay away from venues of either APC/PDP primaries or governorship election, adding that they would use force to instill discipline during the exercise.
Briefing newsmen in Awka, the State Coordinator of Coalition of Anambra Youths, Onyebuchi Okoli said the move was to complement the efforts of the security agents following the death an Anambra youth during UPP primary last Saturday.

UPP GOVERNORSHIP PRIMARY ELECTION: THE MANY LIES OF HON. CHUDI OFFODILE

It will be recalled that the United Progressive Party (UPP) held its Governorship Primary Election on Saturday 19th August, 2017 at Awka, Anambra State. Two aspirants namely Hon. It is important to note that UPP had held its non-election Convention at Awka on Thursday 29th June 2017. One of the highlights of that Convention that was well attended, monitored by INEC and extensively covered by local and international media is the ratification of the Motion recognizing the harmonization of the Officers of the Party in the 36 States of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) as Officers functioning in acting capacities pending our subsequent election convention. This ratification at the Convention followed the approval of the appointment of these unelected officers by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of our great Party.
