APGA SHOULD JOIN GREATER COALITION FOR PRESIDENCY
There is the biblical injunction, which says that "A merchant had valuable goods in his store, but during trading expedition, he discovered a field that contains great treasure in the land. He returned home, sold his store and bought the field, and so possessed the great treasure." An Igbo aphorism says: "When something bigger than the farm is discovered, the ban is sold, (A hu ihe ka ubi, e lee oba)".
RESTRUCTURING, DANCE OF PREVAILING GENERATIONS
BY PETER NWASIKE- 07037946858
Restructuring; in governance is a system that suits the people of a particular generation. Roman Civilization (753 BC-476 AD) which influenced the world for a very long time, started with Kingdom, when kings ruled them from 753-510 BC. They became disenchanted with Kingdoms and expelled the last king, Tarquin The Proud, 510 BC and established the Republic, rule by the nobles (Senators), and later became disillusioned and discarded them. By 60 BC, Julius Ceasar became supreme and established rule of one man as Head of State. His legitimate successor, Octavius Augustus Ceaear, consolidated it and Rome progressed under wise Emperors.

THIS IS ANOTHER GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY AM MAKING SELF AVAILABLE TO SERVE YOU AS YOUR SENATOR
The quest to set Anambra South Senatorial zone on a high national pedestal should not be based only on individual efforts, but should be anchored on the axis of our collective struggles.
It should be aligned with ongoing efforts at redefining the Igbo identity and in a more visible way, maintaining the policies of our great party -the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
IN 4 YEARS, ABIA WILL BECOME THE CHINA OF AFRICA, and Made-In-Aba products will be exported massively''...Sampson Uche Ogah.
A true leader is one who leads by example. Technically, leaders are appraised or judged by the economic values they bring to the organisation, government or group to which they administer. Show me a poor, impoverished and hunger-ravaged nation and I will tell you the stroy of a bad, incompetent president, governor or military administrator. Same goes for corporate organisations, businesses and other corporations. This illustrastion is true of our nation, Nigeria and particularly Abia state. Good leadership is evident in the economy and standard of living of it's people. Needless to say that Nigeria has continued to gropple with poverty, underdevelopment and backwardness as a result of maladministration by it's leaders

Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu’s Candidature and the Judiciary as Arbiters
Chamberlain Okolo
For keen watchers of the unfolding politics of 2019 as it affects electioneering for Anambra South Senatorial seat, the 13 December, 2018 voiding of the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s 3rd October, 2018 primary election which duly produced Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as APGA flag bearer for the Senate, by Justice Valentine Ashi of an Abuja High Court only confirms the endemic intrigues and obfuscating subterfuge that underscore the play of politics therein. Anambra South Senatorial Zone suffers all the malignant electoral features (excepting the bizarre phenomenon of a party’s multiple candidates for single electoral seats) obtainable in Anambra Central Senatorial seat tussle prior to the emergence of Senator Victor Umeh whose exemplary representation in the 8th Senate has largely subdued the political shenanigans and the systemic revulsions in the Zone, thereby smoothening Umeh’s track to the 9th Senate come February 2019.

I Remain APGA Senatorial Candidate For Anambra South --Prince Ukachukwu
Following the Federal Capital Territory judgment court that nullified the All Progressive Grand
Alliance (APGA) Anambra South senatorial primary that produced Prince Nicholas
Ukachukwu as its substantive candidate, Ukachukwu said he remains the candidate
of the party for the 2019 general elections.
He described the judgment delivered by Justice
Valentine Ashi of the State High Court FCT as jaundiced, noting that the
plaintiff never sought any relief against the candidacy of Prince Nicholas
Ukachukwu neither did he join INEC as a body in the said Judgment.
The APGA Anambra South senatorial candidate made
this known in a press release signed by his senior special assistance on Media, Mr. Ken Ezekwelu to journalists in Awka, disclosed that Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu
would not be deterred by the judgment, noting it was a back door judgement that lacks judicial merit
to invalidate an election duly monitored by the Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC), noting further with strong equivocation that the Prince
Nicholas Ukachukwu won the primary overwhelming in the open gear of the
media, security agencies, INEC and other notable observers who had since
independently adjudged the election as freest and transparent.

A Rights group has requested the Federal government
and Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to investigate the alleged
corruption and impunity ongoing at the Nigeria Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA)
port Onitsha.
Scores of the right group supporters trooped to
the Onitsha river port extensions, to protest what they described as an art of
impunity exhibited by an individual, who trades, collect levies on behalf of
port authority, evict traders and demolished shops contracted out by acting as the
agent to the port authority.
Addressing journalists at the NIWA Onitsha port
entrance gate, the leader of the human right group, Dede Uzor-Dede lamented
that the businessman does whatever he likes with the federal government
property claiming to be acting on behalf of the port authority.
