Governor Obiano Promises To Fix Obiagu-Etiti Umuagu Ufuma Road Project

The people of Obiagu-Etiti Umuagu in Ufuma , Orumba North Local Government Area have heaved a sigh of relief as Governor Willie Obiano has promised to construct their access  road, the road had been cut off for over a decade due to erosion. It
 





Following a recent visit by the community stakeholders to the State Government, the delegation includes the Orumba North LGA Chairman, Hon Emeka Aforka, The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Hon Barr Afam Uchendu , The Traditional Ruler of the community and other high profiled persons including Mr Obinwanne Adibe, Mr Fred Okoli, Hon Arinze Clems Special Assistant to the Governor on Projects,  The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government Prof Solo Chukwulobelu mandated the Honorable Commissioner For Environment, Hon Mike Okonkwo and The Commissioner For Works Engr. Marcel Ifejiofor, to inspect the road and give a proper details of what needs to be done immediately.

As a followup on the road project and service to the people another delegation Led by Hon Afam Uchendu SSA on Project Monitoring, Mr Obinwanne Adibe, Barr Lotachukwu Eze and Hon Arinze Clems visited the office of the Honourable commissioner for Works where the Commissioner announced to them with a certificate of contract as a proof that His Excellency the Governor of Anambra state has placed an ultimatum for the road to be constructed immediately without any delay.

While assuring the people on the road construction, The Honourable Commissioner commended them for their trust in Gov Willie Obiano's administration and promised them more dividends of good governance as The Governor is poised to carryout massive rural development contained in his Will-Deliverology ideology.

The announcement sparked jubilation among the people of Ufuma  and the students of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Ufuma campus resident in the area, as the road will open up opportunities through its multiplier effect.
