National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Victor Ike-Oye says the party stands the best chance to win the Nigeria presidential election come 2019.

He said the party being the third force in the Nigeria political equation currently commands greater influence as the palpable alternate to provide sound democratic alternative that the People’s Democratic party (PDP) has failed to provide in its 16 years of reign, while APC three and half would serves as a background that the party will kick-start qualitative leadership service to the people of the country.

The APGA National chairman made this known while briefing newsmen in Awka, said the party was going into the 2019 election to win more states across geo political zones, including the presidency.
Ike-Oye denies the claims that the party may be working for the ruling All Progressive Congress party (APC), he said the party though acknowledge the leadership style instituted by President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed that the party will spring surprise by winning next year presidential election.

Reacting to the nomination of the former governor of Anambra state Mr. Peter Obi as the Vice Presidential  Candidate to Atiku Abaunakar of the People’s Democratic Party, Ike-Oye says Ndigbo would not support such arrangement that will postpone their presidential chances beyond 2023, adding that APGA stands the best chance to produce Nigeria president of Igbo extraction come 2023.
The APGA national chairman though acknowledged that the party’s primaries had some challenges, he expressed hope that the reconciliation exercise has placed the party at the vantage position to win more offices in coming elections.
