Anambra South council of Traditional Rulers Urge President Buhari to Intervene

Following the controversy surrounding the endless litigation between the Chairman of the Innoson Group, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the guarantee Trust Bank Plc, Anambra South Council of Traditional Rulers have appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene.
The traditional rulers feel saddened at the continuous harassment of one of their sons, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma over business transactions with the GTB bank and the regrettable approach put up by the EFCC on the matter, desiring the president to use his executive office to mediate, so as to douse the tension been created in the minds of many people in the South east zone on what they described as an unending legal battle between the duo.

Re: Obiano Reassures On Partnership With Church As Anglican Communion Holds Prayer Rally In Awka.

The Anglican prayer rally 2018 has come and gone but the issues raised are yet to be dealt with.

However, it is important to state that the Roman Catholic Governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano did not attend the rally neither was he represented. The venerable, Okwuosa attended the prayer rally as an Anglican priest and so was not a representative of the Anambra state government. The Governor did not attend because it was not a Roman Catholic event neither did he deem it fit to send a high powered Government delegates to represent his government.

A Rejoinder Re- Bishop Nwokolo and rest of us

By Rev JB Okafor
We write not to argue with one so called Rev Iloegbunam because he is not a priest of the Anglican Church nor  Diocese on the Niger. The Anambra state government under Chief Willie Obiano should come out plainly instead of making  use of masquerades and pseudo writers. But whoever allows himself/herself to be used should remember that history will judge them.
