The National Union Of Food, Beverages and Tobacco Employees has picketed the premises of Deli foods company, over attempt to disengage workers without paying them their benefits.
According to the union, the company is about to shut down and stop operations in Nigeria, but there is fear that workers might not be paid off.
About 300 workers will be out of job if the company, which has been operating for more than 20 years in the country, is shut down.
At the moment, the union leaders are in a meeting with the management to iron out the issues.
