STOLEN LAMBORGHINI FROM SWITZERLAND FOUND IN GHANA WITH A NIGERIA NUMBER PLATE


Luxury Rental Benelux, a car rental company based in Germany claims a Lamborghini car was stolen from Switzerland and its currently touring the expressways in Africa.

The car rental company posted on Instagram via its handle, luxuryrentalbenelux, that the car was rented in June in Zurich, Switzerland.

Again: A truck loaded with 4500 Petrol Fuel Fell At Otedola Bridge but no Fire

Earlier today, a truck fully loaded with 45000 litres Petrol fell at the Otedola bridge. All  emergency responders have been activated. Transloading of content is on going to prevent truck from exploding. Truck will be  recovered  from the road to ensure free flow of traffic.

LASEMA Recovers Truck in Lone Accident at Costain


A truck with unknown registration number conveying two 20ft containers fell sideways at Costain area of Lagos, inward Ijora today during the down pour.

The lone accident was attributed to tyres of the truck getting stuck in a pot hole covered with water in a failed portion of the road which was not visible, as a result of the flooded road resulting from the rain.

Social Activist Emeka Ugwuonye Drags Police To NASS over fabricated Murder Charges


A  Lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye has dragged the Nigerian Police to the National Assembly over  murder and armed robbery charges preferred against him.

He has been detained at the Kuje Medium Prison for over eleven months.

Emeka in petition written through Due Process Advocate International,  dated October 9, and signed by Kelvin Asekome, said the police charged him with armed robbery and murder because he was on the verge of exposing a N5 billion (annual revenue) of illegal prison racketeering and other illegal operations allegedly by some police officers in Abuja.

Ondo closes schools in flood- prone areas for three weeks


Meanwhile, Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has directed public Primary and Secondary Schools submerged in the flood- prone areas to proceed on a three weeks holiday beginning from Monday, October 14, 2019 .

Houses, schools and churches have been flooded for days.

Many people have been rendered homeless  while roads are no longer accessible.

NIGERIAN-BORN PROFESSOR RESIGNS AFTER SPENDING $243K RESEARCH GRANT ON STRIP CLUBS, ITUNES IN US


Chikaodinaka Nwankpa, a professor of Nigerian origin, has resigned after it was discovered that he spent $242,390 research funds in strip clubs and iTunes purchases.

According to a statement released by the eastern district of Pennsylvania attorney’s office, Nwankpa repaid $53,328 and resigned in place of termination after he was discovered.

The professor was also said to have paid for goods and services offered by Cheerleaders, Club Risque, and Tacony Club.

House of Reps. Speaker Gbajabiama Threatens Employers on Employees Scheme

The Speaker of Nigeria's  House of Representatives has threatened to drag employers of labour who default in remitting the statutory contribution into the Employee Compensation Scheme to court.

Femi  Gbajabiamila issued the threat in Abuja, while declaring open an investigative hearing into alleged non-remittance of contributions into the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund by the Federal, State and Local Governments parastatals, public corporations and companies from 2010 to date.

FG warns travellers against Bobrisky

The Federal Government has asked travellers and tourists to be careful wherever they notice the presence of Bobrisky, mostly as it affects sharing of public facilities, including toilets.

The report followed a report received by the Federal Government on how Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, caused a stir at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja when he used a female toilet.
