A Federal high court judge, Justice Abdul Dogo  who was kidnapped by an unknown gunmen while travelling from Abuja back to Akure on Tuesday has regained his freedom.
He was left off the hook at around 2am on Saturday.

108 Rescued From Illegal Rehabilitation Centre in Ilorin


At least 108 persons have been rescued from an illegal rehabilitation center in Ilorin, Kwara state.
The victims claimed that their parents paid to be rehabilitated at the centre but instead of being treated they were tortured and dehumanized.

Senate insists on recruiting 10,000 Nigerians into Civil Defence

The Nigerian Senate has insisted that the proposed recruitment of 10,000 Nigerians into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) would go on despite limited funds available for the paramilitary outfit.
Authorities of the NSCDC had complained that the 2020 budgetary provision for the corps can only accommodate 5,000 new employees as against the 10,000 earlier proposed by the government.

Anambra State has become in the last four years the most peaceful and united state in Nigeria. The level of social harmony is unrivalled. Not even party differences matter to the people and government of Anambra State any more.
