Senator Uche Ekwunife today joined participants from around the world for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) 10th Assembly Session being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The two-day session which began Saturday, is focused on raising awareness of the importance of intensifying global efforts to deploy renewable energy, and to discuss their impact on the energy transformation and sustainable development - connecting policy makers, experts and innovators around the world on issues of common interest.
With 161 member countries, IRENA plays a leading role in energy transformation and support for countries.
