The Imo State Police Command has just confirmed an attack on OKIGWE SOUTH AREA COMMAND Headquarters, Ehime Mbano LGA, by yet to be identified gunmen.
Confirming the fresh attack, the command's public relations officer Orlando Ikeokwu said five Police officers were killed and one is yet to be accounted for.
According to him, the building of the police Station was not razed by the rampaging gunmen.
This latest attack is coming two days after the house of Governor Hope Uzodinma in his country home at Omuma community was attacked by hoodlums.
