A leading Soludo support group, the Soludo Solidarity Forum (SSF) has condemned the Wednesday attack on Prof.Chukwuma Soludo.
The attack which took place at the Civic center, Isuofia, happened while Prof. Soludo was having an interactive session with Isuofia youths . Three policemen attached to the Professor were killed and the Honorable Commissioner for Public Utilities, Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne was abducted.
While condemning the attack, the convener and chairman ,board of trustees of Soludo Solidarity Forum, Chief Tony Muobike described the attack as very barbaric and alien to the political culture of Anambra state. He called on the Anambra state government and the state police command to fish out the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
While pleading with the authorities to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the safe return of Engr. Emeka Ezenwanne, he prayed the Almighty God to comfort the families of the slain policemen and grant them eternal rest.
Chief Muobike further enjoined the teaming supporters of Prof.Chukwuma Soludo across the length and breadth of the state not to be deterred by this incident, insisting that Prof. Soludo remains the best among all the governorship candidates and the attack was an obvious confirmation.
Continuing Muobike urged the erudite Professor and leading governorship candidate not to give up on Anambra as his knowledge, wealth of experience and international network are seriously needed by Anambra and her people.
