We commend our principal, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, the Anambra state government and the state Police Command for their efforts which led to the safe release of Engr. Ezenwanne.
We also thank the good people of Anambra state for their prayers and support during this difficult period .
This is a further attestation to the love and preference of ndi Anambra for Prof Soludo as the next Governor of Anambra state.
As we move closer to the Nov 6 governorship election, we call on all political factions in the state to play their politics with peace and civility as violence is alien to the political culture of Anambra state. We are all going to lose if we allow the errant culture to creep into our polity. Anambra is noted for excellence and it is too late in the day to change her winning formula. We may disagree politically but not to the point of shedding blood for political gains. We expect a free and peaceful election come November 6, 2021.
