The south east leaders have condemned the recent violence attacks that claimed lives and destruction of security facilities across the five states of the region.
It among other measures mapped out to forestall future occurrence, formed a south east joint security outfit code name Ebebuagu that will coordinate the functions of vigilante groups in the region.
Speaking to Journalists after about four hours closed door meeting at the Government house Owerri, the chairman and Governor of Ebonyi state Dave Umahi urged FG to bring people involved in the recent killings in the region, to justice.
The meeting that was attended by Governors of the five South east states , leadership of Ohaneze NDIGBO, security operatives and other stakeholders in the zone, wants families of the victims be compensated.
